Within the framework of the initiative developed jointly with Binance Academy, more than 40 thousand specialists in blockchain technologies will be trained in Kazakhstan. The first wave of personnel will be released by 2024. On December 19, Minister of Digital Development and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bagdat Musin, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek, and Chairman of the Board of JSC "Center for Development of Payment and Financial Technologies of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan" Binur Zhalenov signed a memorandum with Binance Kazakhstan represented by Jaslan Madiyev on academic cooperation. Kazakhstan will become the first country in the world to introduce an educational program in organizations of higher and (or) postgraduate education (OVPO) on a country scale. The formed community of professionals who have gained knowledge and skills in the field of blockchain technologies will become a major resource for the global community of the blockchain industry. Today it is the largest global educational initiative in the blockchain industry, which has no analogues.
Sayasat Nurbek, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, noted that thanks to cooperation, the Kazakh higher education system will become a supplier of professionals in the blockchain industry not only for the needs of the economy of Kazakhstan, but also for the global labor market.

Training in blockchain technologies is an important task for the university in the light of training for the transition to the digital economy of Kazakhstan.
