On June 26, a seminar was conducted for teachers of English from the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines and World Languages of the International Engineering and Technological University. The seminar was attended by the Rector of Sarsenbekov University G. A., Graduate of Business School "Norwich" (UK) Zholdybek Dauren Batyrovich, the management of the university and department, and teachers of English. Objective: to discuss issues of effective English language teaching.

During the seminar, participants set out priorities in approaches to effective English language learning against the background of the barriers identified in learning in the 2023-24 academic year. Dauren Batyrovich exchanged views with English language teachers, suggesting effective forms of work and modern methods of teaching a foreign language. As a result of the discussion, it was suggested that an academic dictionary be prepared for students and that the text be printed as "Home reading" in the form of a special brochure. All participants in the seminar agreed to this proposal and developed a new plan for the next academic year.

The seminar was conducted to improve the professional competence of teachers, promote the effective use in the practice of methodological complexes on the subject of English, improve pedagogical skills, and provide practical and methodological assistance. At the end of the seminar, teachers of English, enhancing their teaching skills, mastered effective methods and techniques of work that raise their professional level.
