The purpose of the celebration is to promote tourism, highlight its contribution to the economy of the world community, the development of relations between the peoples of different countries. It aims to draw the attention of the international community to the importance of tourism and its social, cultural and economic significance. For the purpose of Patriotic education of students, increase of sports tourism as effective means of all-round formation of the personality of October 2, 2019 on the basis of KazETU passed action “world day of tourism”. Organizers of the event: senior lecturer of the Department "Economics and Finance" Suleimenova N. Zh. and students of specialties "Tourism" 1-2 courses. The event was attended by: Teachers of the Department "Economics and Finance", students of 1-4 courses in the specialties:" Tourism"," Economics"," Accounting and auditing"," Marketing", "Management". The total number of participants - 60 people. During the event was held: 1. Opening of the event “tourism Day” 2. Presentations on the following topics were listened to: 1.Information about the international day of tourism. 2.Development of tourism in Kazakhstan. 3. Tourist block of the event: 2.1. Local history quiz; 2.2. Environmental quiz; 2.3. The competition for tourist orientation; 4. Entertainment unit: 4.1 Entertainment program "International dances»; 4.2 Tourist game: "Customs» The event gave the opportunity to involve everyone: students, teachers, and technical staff. The University used the potential of tourism as an effective means of physical training, mastering many applied skills, relieving nervous overloads and stresses. It is planned to continue similar activities to form a team of young tourists KazETU, who would be able to adequately participate in similar competitions at a higher level.
