Round table "Green economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan: realities and opportunities".
October 4, 2019 in Kazakhstan engineering and technology university held a Round table "Green economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan: realities and opportunities". The organizer of the Round table was the Department of "Economics and Finance" of KazETU. The Round table was attended by teachers and students of the Department "Economics and Finance". The Round table discussed the general aspects of the waste management system operating in the world, as well as the prospects for the development of the waste management sector. The round table covered almost the entire range of problems of energy saving and waste recycling. At the event, a report on various aspects of the designated topic were Natibay B. G. (1 course), Mambetiyarova A. (4 course), Balaeva Ya (4 course), Amirkhanova A. (1 course), Dimukhamedova A. (3 course), Nemitullaev E. (2 course), Yusupbaev I. (3 course), Dauletkeldi T. (4 course). All reports were accompanied by presentations created in the power Point editor. As it was mentioned in almost all speeches, for the development of green economy in Kazakhstan it is necessary to strengthen the role of the state, which today can really initiate and stimulate the development of advanced technologies and high-tech industries. Summing up the work of the Round table, its presenter d.e.s., prof. Akhmedyarova M. V. also underlined that the green economy is not just a new direction in economic science, but rather a new consciousness that penetrates into all spheres of society — economic, social, political. The concept of a "green economy" that has emerged in the last two decades is designed to ensure a more harmonious and coordinated interaction between these areas. In the light of this understanding, she urged all participants of the round table to try to form not only a set of knowledge, but also the worldview of young people who own the future. The reports of the participants can be used as a basis for writing scientific student articles on topical issues in the field of ecology, become part of the methodological developments of the Department of Economics and Finance.
