On the holding of a competition for the awarding of vacant educational grants

In accordance with paragraph 24 of the Rules for awarding educational grants for higher and postgraduate education with the awarding of the degree "bachelor" or "master", approved by the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 23, 2008, No. 58, the International Engineering and Technology University announces a competition for the award of vacant educational grants from the republican budget, released during the higher education process among students studying on a paid basis under the following educational program:

To participate in the competition, it is necessary to submit an application addressed to the rector, along with the transcript of the results of the summer examination session of the 2025-2026 academic year.
Deadline for submission is August 5, 2025.



The procedure for awarding vacant educational grants released during higher education is carried out in the following order:


  • A student of higher or postgraduate education studying on a paid basis submits an application to the registrar's office addressed to the rector with a request for a transfer to further study on a state educational grant and a copy of the identity document. The transcript for the entire period of study is submitted to the registrar's office;

  • The registrar's office accepts and registers the application and documents in the registration journal;

  • The university administration, after reviewing the submitted applications, submits it to the Academic Council for consideration;

  • By August 5 and January 15, the Academic Affairs Office sends the list of candidates for the transfer to vacant educational grants to the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan (MOES RK) for final decision. The student's application, together with the decision of the Academic Council and the Board of Trustees, is accompanied by the student's transcript, a copy of the identity document, the educational grant holder certificate (original), and a copy of the expulsion order from the university;

  • The MOES RK considers the submitted documents by educational program groups, forms, and study durations, taking into account the year of admission, and, if a positive decision is made, issues an order to award a vacant educational grant for higher and/or postgraduate education (if there are no candidates in the educational program group, the vacant grants are redistributed within the training direction or field of education);

  • Based on the MOES RK order for the re-registration of the state educational grant, the National Center for Education Standards and Testing issues a certificate of the state educational grant holder in the name of the student who submitted the application for transfer;

  • Based on the issued educational grant certificate and the MOES RK order, the registrar's office issues an order at the university, indicating the date of transfer to further study on the educational grant.
