On October 18, 2021, at 15.00, the presentation of the Mentor Day project will take place at the Kazakhstan Engineering and Technological University. President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in his Message to the people called "The main task is to instill universal values in young people." This task places a great responsibility on higher education institutions that work directly with young people. In this regard, KazITU is implementing the project "Institute of Mentors".

A mentor is a person who constantly participates in the educational work of the university, takes care of his subordinates, teaches art and education. Promotes student involvement in social work, comprehensive growth. Mentors conduct organizational and educational work aimed at helping to manage the student's student life, forming a genuine motivated attitude to study; promoting student involvement in scientific research, social work, creating a psychologically comfortable environment in the group.
