In the agricultural world there is a shortage of specialists in the educational program "Fruit and vegetable growing and agro-soil science". The uniqueness of our educational program is that it includes the disciplines of 2 educational programs "Fruit and vegetable growing" and "Soil Science and agrochemistry". As a result, there were 2 learning paths for students: 1. "Fruit and vegetable growing" 2. "Soil science and agrochemistry".

During the preparation of the educational program "Fruit and Vegetable Growing and agro-soil science", round tables were held, at which the issues of the round table were discussed with the participation of the Chairmen of the Board of the Kazakh Scientific Research Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry named after U. Uspanov LLP and the Kazakh Scientific Research Institute of Fruit and Vegetable Growing LLP. Employers expressed the opinion that students in the Fruit and Vegetable growing educational program in the future need knowledge in the educational program "Soil Science and Agrochemistry", and vice versa. In this regard, our educational program was combined and named according to the recommendations of the round table "Fruit and vegetable growing and agro-soil science".

The university has an innovative and entrepreneurial direction, upon graduation, students in the educational program "Fruit and vegetable growing and agro-soil science" will have skills in drawing up a business plan of the economy, and forecasting the yield of the economy, which also gives uniqueness to our Educational program. According to the educational program, the Master`s degree program 7M08101 "Fruit and vegetable growing and agro-soil science" is being successfully implemented at the university. Students and undergraduates studying under this educational program are engaged not only in academic, but also in scientific work. The university has a Research center "Ecology and agroinnovations", a laboratory "Ecology and environmental quality research". The Kazakh Research Institute of Fruit and Vegetable Growing has a joint laboratory "Variety studies and selection of fruits and grapes", which all students and undergraduates have access to.
