Today, a meeting with the participation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek on the topic "Private education and social responsibility" was held at the M.Auezov South Kazakhstan University.

The main purpose of the meeting is to improve the quality of education and find solutions to problems in private higher education institutions.

During the meeting, the heads of private universities spoke about the work and issues carried out in their universities.

Minister Sayasat Nurbek spoke about the ongoing work to improve the quality of education in higher education institutions, about the financing of science, about the recently agreed Coursera world courses during a working trip to the United States.

Also, he noted that in the future a project will be developed that will support universities without dividing into public and private.

"One of the advantages of private universities is efficiency. This means that private universities can quickly make changes, adapt programs in accordance with demand and make proposals," the head of the department said.

During the visit, the Minister got acquainted with the research projects of young scientists of Auezov University.

Also, they visited the scientific center "Archeology and Anthropological research", the scientific center "Field Healing", the research laboratory "Innovative equipment of technological processes", the educational and production laboratory "Food Engineering", a mini-exhibition on commercialized agricultural projects of small mechanization, the laboratory of cooperation of the Department of TNiNP "Technologies of inorganic acids and Soley" with Kazphosphate LLP and a comprehensive laboratory of modern methods of testing silicate materials.
