On June 21, 2023, the International University of engineering and technology (Mitu) launched an advanced training course on improving management in the education system for school leaders of Zhetysu, Kyzylorda, Turkestan regions.
This event is held by the International University of engineering and technology as part of the implementation of the instructions of the head of state Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to take effective measures to increase the level of training of teachers and prioritize improving management in the education system.
At the same time, the Ministry of Education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Science and higher education established an interdepartmental Council on the training of modern high-quality teachers and discussed ways to solve topical issues of high-quality training of teachers. In this regard, a program for the selection and training of strong leaders is being developed.
The program of the advanced training course "fundamentals of management" for school leaders was prepared on the basis of materials from leading foreign universities (University of California Irvine, USA; University of Queensland, Australia; University of Surrey, UK). At the end of the course, students who successfully pass the final Test are given a Coursera certificate and the opportunity to receive 4 specially developed fastbooks (Fastbooks).
