On October 23, in honor of the day of the Republic, Mitu hosted an evening of meetings with academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, "honorary citizen of the Aral District", Head of the Department of history of Kazakhstan, Faculty of history of Al-Farabi kaznu, doctor of historical sciences, professor Karibayev Bereket Bakytzhanovich. During the conversation, Bereket Bakytzhanovich spoke about the importance and significance of the declaration of state sovereignty, the place of the national holiday in the life of the country, noting that the day of the Republic, which was returned to the calendar as a national holiday last year in 2022, is widely celebrated in the country for the second time this year. On October 25, 1990, at a meeting of the Supreme Council of the Kazakh SSR, the draft declaration on the state sovereignty of the Kazakh SSR was discussed on each article, and the declaration was adopted by a majority vote, stating that each article was resolved by individual vote and the memorable works of the patriotic Kazakh intelligentsia. During the meeting, the students were deeply immersed in our history and had a lively discussion. In conclusion, academician Karibayev Bereket Bakytzhanovich presented his monographs on the history of the Kazakh Khanate and textbooks prepared by the staff of the Department of history of Kazakhstan of Al-Farabi kaznu to the Scientific Library of Mitu. It is clear that the meeting instilled in the students faith in the future, courage, patriotism, and gave them an ardent spirit.
