On 09/02/2024 an important meeting was held at the International Engineering and Technological University (IETU) with representatives of the leading university of Kyrgyzstan. Rector of Osh Technological University Zhanbolot Zhanyshovich Tursunbayev hosted the Rector of MITU Gulnara Alibekovna Sarsenbekova.

The Rector of Kyrgyzstan University noted in his speech that: "the University supports the strengthening and development of international partnership with MITU, marking on significant experience in scientific and educational sphere". University representatives gathered at online zoom meeting. During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of cooperation and future perspectives, that is, opportunities for cooperation in the field of academic mobility of students and teachers, attracting scientists to guest lectures and development of joint educational programs within the framework of double-degree diploma.
