METU University is carrying out digitalization work for effective organization  of industrial placement providing students for a practice base choice, constant monitoring of professional placement quality both by the university management and by partners (practice base).

Professional placement allows to consolidate and deepen scientific and theoretical knowledge obtained during studies, implement in practical work facing real problems at everyday activities.

METU Rector G.A. Sarsenbekova met with Career center staff and Information technology department. She got acquainted with the results of the 2023-2024 academic year, plans for digitalization work at new academic year.

There were several major issues on the agenda to discuss in the direction of digitalization and relevant proposals were made.
