On 09/02/2024, Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev announced a Message to the people of Kazakhstan "Fair Kazakhstan: law and order, economic growth, public optimism" at a joint meeting of the chambers of Parliament. The message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was enthusiastically heard live by the heads of structures, the teaching staff of the International University of Engineering and Technology. One of the points of the Message was the issue of global energy shortage, which meets the conditions of reliable and environmentally friendly energy sources. Therefore, every important step for the life of the country must be taken with the support of the people. This should be the case with the referendum on nuclear power plants, which will be held on 06.10.24. In this regard, today, 09/10/2024, in the Conference Hall of the International University of Engineering and Technology, a discussion was held in support of the referendum with the Chairman of the branch of the Bostandyk district branch of the AMANAT party Saben, Tynyshkali Toregaliuly and Associate Professor of the Department of Finance of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Kerimbek Galimzhan Eskarauly to make a thoughtful decision on the construction of a nuclear power plant, a wide discussion in the Society of strategic plans. The faculty of MITU supported the idea of building a nuclear power plant, since national support is needed to implement the upcoming choice of the people, which is why it is so important to participate in the referendum.

We hope that the results of the referendum on October 06, 2024 will bring great changes for Kazakhstanis and satisfy the rapidly growing needs of our economy.
