SCIENTISTS OF THE BH DEPARTMENT PRESENTED THE RESULTS OF SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH IN EUROPE
On September 17-19, 2024, the international conference "22nd Baltic Polymer Symposium" was held in the city of Birstonas (Lithuania).
The international conference was attended by scientists of the Department of Biochemical Engineering – Ruslan Gennadievich Kondaurov and Evgeny Alexandrovich Melnikov.
Associate Professor of the department – R.G. Kondaurov made a presentation on the topic "Development of fundamentally new macromolecular sorbents based on molecular imprinting technique".
The report of Associate Professor E.A. Melnikov was devoted to the topical topic "Development of multifunctional ion exchange structures for the sorption of various metals".
It should be noted that these reports aroused particular interest among scientists from Estonia, Lithuania, Malaysia, India and other countries.
For reference. Baltic Polymer Symposium is a traditional conference held in the Baltic States since 2001.
The purpose of the conference is to bring together leading scientists, researchers and especially young scientists to share the results of their research. Currently, the conference is widely recognized internationally, with representatives from more than 15 countries taking part in it.
The most important areas covered by the conference are polymer materials and composites, conductive polymers, electrochemistry and photochemistry of polymers, composites (synthesis, processing, recycling), organic materials and devices, etc..
