At International University of Engineering and Technology in cooperation with Huawei Company active measures are taken to open a new Huawei ICT Academy in Almaty aiming at training of highly qualified Kazakhstani professionals.

Huawei ICT Academy is a partnership between Huawei and Academies around the world. Through this partnership, Academy delivers Huawei ICT technologies training, encourages students to get Huawei certification, and develops talents with practical skills for the ICT industry and the community. At present ICT Academies have been opened in 82 countries with a total of more than 1,500 educational ecosystems, which have graduated over 125,000 highly qualified and in-demand professionals.

Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd. is one of the world`s largest telecommunications companies. Within the signed Memorandum of cooperation between Huawei and METU there is an opportunity to study new technologies such as artificial intelligence, 5G, data transmission followed by annual Huawei ICT contests.
