Brewery Tour
On October 17, 2024, lecturer Dauletkhankyzy A. and teacher Tautayeva A.T. conducted classes on the subject "Fermentation Production Technology and Winemaking" at the Line Brew Bottlers enterprise for 3rd-year students of the educational program "Food Production Technology and Engineering". The chief production technologists conducted a tour of the brewery. 
First, they introduced the raw materials: malt, hops, water and yeast. The guide explained how each ingredient affects the taste and aroma of beer. Then the students observed the mashing process, when malt turns into wort, as well as boiling, where hops are added. 
After that, they were taken to the fermentation zone, where huge fermenters resembled giant jars. The guide talked about the fermentation process and how yeast turns sugar into alcohol. 
At the final stage of the tour, the students learned about the quality control methods that are used at each stage of production. At the end of the excursion, the students noted not only the fascinating process, but also the plant`s environmental initiatives aimed at sustainable production. Everyone was satisfied and took with them new knowledge and a great mood. A well-known local enterprise is ready to accept students for practical training with subsequent employment.
