On September 21, 2024, the President of the National Academy of Engineering, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Professor Zhumagulov Bakytzhan Tursynovich met with the staff of the International University of Engineering and Technology.
         During the meeting, Rector of MITU G. Sarsenbekova presented topical issues raised at the international conference "CONNECTED 2024", which was held on October 17-18 in Astana and familiarized those present with the current state of the university.

                                                                                                       
            During the event, the President of the National Academy of Engineering, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Professor Bakytzhan Tursynovich congratulated all those present on Republic Day and "For merits in the development of engineering of the Republic of Kazakhstan" from the Engineering Academy of Sciences by Decree of the Presidium No. 167 dated 06/21/2024 for outstanding achievements and contribution to the development of science, education and engineering medals They were awarded:
1.Abuova Altynai Burkhatovna - Research Professor of the Department of Food Production Engineering and Technology, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences;
 2.Dildebayeva Zhuldyz Tursynovna - Head of the Department of Economics and Business, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor; 
3. Solodova Elena Vladimirovna - Head of the Department of Biochemical Engineering, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor.
