On November 12, 2024, advisors from the Department of
"Economics and Business," led by senior advisor Ayman Dautbekovna
Kuntubayeva, went on a cultural visit to the G. Musrepov State Academic Theater
for Children and Youth with first- and second-year students. At the theater,
they watched a performance based on Chingiz Aitmatov`s work The Girl with the
Red Scarf.
The performance made a strong impression and held
significant educational value for the students. The theater was especially well
received by first-year students from other cities, who were inspired by the
play. Such cultural events help not only to develop students` cultural
awareness but also to instill respect for human values, culture, and
traditions. Additionally, they help to develop communication skills, social
adaptation, and strengthen friendships among students.
The first advantage of visiting cultural places is that,
through theater, a person comes to know themselves by observing others. They
take a step toward self-knowledge and begin to seek an answer to the question:
“Who am I?” — if not immediately, then gradually. After several visits to the
theater, a person begins to better understand their inner desires and needs.
Cultural knowledge and worldview expand.
The second advantage is that theater encourages positive
changes in students. Theater is a temple of art that always guides viewers on
the right path. Here, professionals with refined taste and artistic vision work
together. Today’s society has strict demands, and each person must adapt to new
conditions. In our time, when material concerns dominate the mind, students,
spending much of their time on phones and staying home, need such events.
