At the Department of Biochemical Engineering, students participate in research projects in biological and chemical areas:

• "Molecular epidemiological monitoring of avian resistance";

• "Development of innovative methods for selective extraction and separation of heavy rare earth metal ions based on remote interaction of macromolecular structures and molecular impiriting";

• "Development of scientific foundations for the synthesis of multifunctional ion-exchange structures of a new generation for selective sorption of heavy metals";  

• "Creation of high-molecular sorbents that allow selective sorption and separation of precious metals and related valuable components from concentrates and technological hydrometallurgical solutions."
