A WEEK OF OPEN ADVISORY HOURS HAS STARTED AT MIT
At the International University of Engineering and Technology, special attention is paid to the education of students.
The leading role in the education of students belongs to the teaching staff, scientists of the university. Today, education can and should be understood not as the simultaneous transfer of experience and value judgments from the older generation to the younger, but also as the interaction and cooperation of teachers and students in the field of their joint academic and extracurricular activities.
The Department of Biochemical Engineering held open advisory hours from November 11 to November 16.
On November 13, the head of the Department of Biochemical Engineering, Candidate of Biological Sciences, held an open advisory hour with students on the educational programs "Biotechnology", "Bioengineering and Bioinformatics" on the topic: "Biorhythms and quality of life".
During the lesson, the issues of organizing the students` school day taking into account biological rhythms were discussed. Human biorhythms are periodic physiological cycles that affect various aspects of our lives, such as physical activity, emotional state and intellectual ability.
If the learning process coincides with the individual biorhythm of the student, the productivity of mental work is maximized. In case of violation of biological rhythms of patterns, students` body capabilities decrease: working capacity decreases, fatigue increases, sleep is disrupted, neuroses develop, the number of diseases of the respiratory and digestive systems increases, allergic reactions increase, blood pressure increases, etc.
