On December 2, 2024, an intellectual game "IQ Battle" was held in Almaty, organized by the Department of Youth Policy of the city of Almaty.

Students from seven universities of the city took part in the competition. As a result of a hard struggle, the 1st year students of METU — Tolegen Anel, Yerzhan Nagima and Abaykyzy Symbat — won the honorable third place. This event was a vivid example of how knowledge and work can lead to success.

The intellectual game consisted of several stages in which participants tested their knowledge and ability to think logically by answering various questions. METU students demonstrated a high level of preparation, showing not only knowledge, but also teamwork. Their success was the result of hard work and a desire to win.

The purpose of the event is to attract young people to intellectual competitions, develop creativity and increase interest in knowledge. The victory of METU students is a confirmation that learning and perseverance can lead to excellent results and inspire other students to new achievements.
