Today, on December 5, 2024, Sanjar Mendybayevich Alin, Akim of Almaty’s Bostandyk District, visited International Engineering and Technological University at the invitation of Rector Gulnara Alibekovna Sarsenbekova.

During his visit, Akim Sanjar Mendybayevich explored the university’s development progress and its plans for future infrastructure enhancements. A major topic of discussion was fostering closer collaboration between the district’s businesses and METU to prepare highly skilled professionals in line with market needs, expand internship opportunities, and improve employment prospects.

The meeting concluded with an agreement to develop joint initiatives and partnership projects to enhance the quality of education and create new opportunities for students.
