On December 11, 2024, International Engineering and Technological University (METU) will host an International Forum on the topic: "Enhancing the Role of Employers in Professional Training as a Quality Indicator for Designing and Implementing of Educational Programs in the Context of Globalization". The forum will bring together representatives of educational institutions, employers, experts, and stakeholders to discuss current issues of collaboration between universities and industries in the professional training of specialists. The forum will involve 50 participants, including representatives of foreign universities and companies, as well as representatives of government bodies from Kazakhstan. They will share their experiences and proposals on forming students` professional competencies, implementing joint educational programs, and internships.

Forum topics include:

Micro-credentials as an element of professional training.

Employers` participation in developing students` professional competencies through practices and internships.

The forum will be held in a hybrid format: offline and online.
