On November 21, 2024, an online meeting was held between the teachers and students of MITU and the Head of the Department of Foreign Languages and Speech Culture, Associate Professor of the N.I. Vavilov Saratov State University of Genetics, Biotechnology, and Engineering (Russia), Elina Borisovna Kalinichenko.

During the meeting, the professor delivered a lecture titled “Project Activities in Foreign Language Education. Motivation. The Power of Management” in both English and Russian. The lecture highlighted modern trends in the development of foreign language education. In addition, the professor shared her scientific interests with the MITU researchers. The presentation sparked significant interest among first-year students, who were curious about the current issues in language education. The professor provided comprehensive answers to the students’ questions.

Professor Kalinichenko also shared the experience of the N.I. Vavilov Saratov State University of Genetics, Biotechnology, and Engineering in systematically expanding international cooperation with partner universities and integrating into global research and educational networks.

At the end of the online guest lecture, the faculty of the Department of “Social and Humanitarian Disciplines and World Languages” and MITU students expressed their gratitude to E.B. Kalinichenko for the valuable information provided and discussed the questions of interest.
