The Department of Software Engineering has held a grand opening ceremony for the Research Center for "3D Modeling Technologies and Spatial Data Analysis." The Center specializes in the development of realistic 3D models, animation, and virtual reality technologies aimed at improving accuracy, speed, and convenience when working with spatial information. The ceremonial ribbon was cut by the Head of the Department of Software Engineering, M.S. Sarsembayev, and the head of the "MaxImagine" company, M. Kuzembaev, symbolically marking the beginning of a new stage in scientific and technological cooperation between the university and the business sector. During the opening ceremony, M. Kuzembaev also formally presented two department students with certificates guaranteeing them future employment upon graduation.
Faculty members emphasized that, thanks to the establishment of the Center, students will gain access to modern computing resources, specialized software solutions, and high-quality equipment. This approach will not only strengthen the university’s research potential but also equip students with the necessary competencies to work in rapidly developing fields such as 3D graphics, virtual reality, computer vision, and big data analysis.
