On December 11, 2024, an international forum on the topic “Increasing the role of the employer in professional training as an indicator of the quality of educational programs in the context of globalization” was held at the International University of Engineering and Technology (MITU). " The event was attended by employers of leading enterprises, the management of MITU, as well as representatives of universities in Turkey, China, Korea, Russia and Kyrgyzstan.

As part of the forum, the Department of Food Production Engineering and Technology held a grand opening of the production laboratory "Technological Processes of Food Engineering". The opening ceremony was attended by the rector of the university Sarsenbekova G.A., the first vice-rector Akpanbetov D.B., the head of the department Tattibaeva D.B., the chief of the brewing shop of TOO "Line brew bottlers" Baimusanov A.D. and other employers and the faculty of the department.

The laboratory is equipped with modern equipment for technological processes of food processing. The opening of the laboratory provides an excellent opportunity for students, postgraduates and doctoral students to conduct laboratory and scientific work.
