The winter holidays opened the way to new dreams

Hello everyone. I am Aida Kojataeva, a second-year student at METU, studying in the TIPP department. It was a great revelation for me to realize that university life is not just about lectures and practical classes. Especially when I joined the student self-government organization, I discovered a new side of myself.

The winter holidays inspire me greatly. It is not just a time for relaxation and free time, but also a period to reflect on the past year and make new plans.

During the winter break, I recalled the events organized together with the student organization and noticed how impactful they were. For example, the debates and charity events held between different departments of our university strengthened teamwork and friendly relations among students.

During the year of student self-government, when our rector awarded students with letters of gratitude, it was a great pride for us. It showed that our efforts are recognized not only within the university but also beyond its boundaries. In that moment, I deeply understood the importance of work and the power of teamwork. This award proves that student life is not just about gaining knowledge and obtaining a diploma, but also about personal growth and improving leadership skills.

The winter holidays inspire me to evaluate my achievements and set new goals for the future. The student self-government organization has shaped me not only as a student but also as an active member of society. In the future, I am ready to do my best to elevate the reputation of our university.

I am endlessly grateful to the university leadership, teachers, and my fellow students for their support along the way! I believe that we will achieve our goals together, and the most important values on this path are unity and hard work.
