The International University of Engineering and Technology officially declares 2025 the «YEAR OF STUDENT SELF-GOVERNMENT».

The coming year 2025 opens up huge opportunities for the realization of students` creative abilities.

Student government is a form of governance where students take an active part in decision–making. Students are given the right to be responsible for the organization of the university`s social life, the opportunity to choose the topics of competitions, meetings, festivals and other student events themselves.

This unique program also provides an opportunity to evaluate the quality of educational processes and participate in the election of student leaders.

Every student has a chance to be elected to the student committee. All acquired skills and knowledge, such as organization and teamwork, will help METU graduates in the future.
