On January 22, 2025, a meeting was held between the Director of the Transformation Center of the Tashkent State University of Economics of the Republic of Uzbekistan Alimnazar Islamkulov and representatives of the International Engineering and Technology University under the leadership of the First Vice-Rector - Vice-Rector for Academic Work and International Relations Akpanbetov D.B. The Department of Economics and Business was represented at the meeting by the Head of the Department, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor Dildebaeva Zh.T., Professor of the Department, Doctor of Economics Toxanova A.N., Associate Professor, PhD in Economics Sadyrova G.A. The Department of Economics and Business invited colleagues from the Tashkent State University of Economics to participate in the International Scientific and Practical Conference on the topic: «Socio-economic problems of our time: issues of theory and practice», which will be held on February 20, 2025 at METU.

The parties exchanged views on the main areas of activity and agreed to consolidate the results of the negotiations in a Memorandum of Cooperation.
