Valuable knowledge about your country’s history is preserved in the Book Museum!

The Book Museum, opened in 2015, is located in the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Astana. The museum holds a collection of over 13,000 books that cover historical events from ancient times to the present. Visitors can not only explore rare books and ancient manuscripts but, with staff permission, also work with historical sources to deepen their knowledge!

We encourage all students to enhance their understanding of their country’s history by independently visiting book museums, exhibitions, galleries, and other cultural institutions in our country and abroad.
