On January 23, 2025, the coordinator of METU advisors, Associate Professor of the Department of «Social and Humanitarian Disciplines and World Languages», Saule Dyusetaevna Shaimukhanova, participated in an advising hour for groups HTOV-24-1r and BZh-22-1r. The meeting took place according to the schedule in room 312. During the event, the advisor of the «Biochemical Engineering» department, Dina Ryskel`di, presented the work plan for the Spring semester of the 2024-2025 academic year and introduced students to the opportunity of a paid industrial internship in Turkey under the METU program.

During the meeting, students discussed key issues related to the organization of the educational process. Special attention was given to the academic calendar, the importance of 100% class attendance, and the integration of new students into the academic environment. Additionally, matters concerning medical registration at the university-affiliated «Dostar Med» clinic and interaction with parents as part of career guidance were addressed.

The advising hour provided students with relevant information about the upcoming semester and professional development opportunities. Participants highlighted the importance of such events for effective academic planning and career growth.
