From January 9 to 18, 2025, the Winter School 2025 in METU hosted the annual Sports Festival for university faculty and staff. This event was held alongside the conference "Models and Methods of Teaching in the Context of Improving the Quality of Engineering Education," creating an atmosphere of professional and sporting unity.

On January 10, a table tennis tournament took place, with active participation from lecturers of various university departments. Among them, the performance of Aliasqar Magzhan Sundetuly, a lecturer from the "Software Engineering" department, stood out. With skill, determination, and team spirit, he claimed victory, securing first place among his colleagues.
