Advisor Hour on the topic "Great Historical Figures and Their Role in the History and Culture of Kazakhstan"
On January 27, 2024, an advisor hour
was held at the university for students of the TMO-22-1k/r and TMO-24-1k/r
groups of the Department of «Technology and Engineering of Food
Production», organized by the group`s advisor, Majiyeva Elba Myrkhakhmetovna.
The event began in a free dialogue format. Students shared impressions about
their winter holidays and discussed their practical experience during their
internship in Turkey, as well as career guidance work among schoolchildren.
The main topic of the advisor hour was the
great historical figures of Kazakhstan and their contribution to the history
and culture of our country. Students prepared presentations dedicated to the
125th anniversary of the birth of academician Kanysh Imantaevich Satpaev. In
the history of Kazakhstani science, academician Satpaev occupies a special
place, being not only an outstanding geologist and scientist but also a
talented organizer of science and a public and state figure. His contribution
to the industrialization of Kazakhstan cannot be overstated.
The next important topic was the life and
activities of the leaders of «Alash-Orda». The participants learned
about the invaluable contribution of the members of the Alash government in the
formation of the national scientific and creative intelligentsia. The
personalities who were part of «Alash» became the founders of Kazakh
national self-consciousness, actively developing educational culture and
political literacy. They translated scientific and journalistic works into the
Kazakh language, popularizing the culture and history of the Kazakhs.
The advisor hour emphasized the importance of
perpetuating the memory of the great figures of Kazakhstan as an essential
aspect of forming new Kazakhstani patriotism. Such events help deepen students`
knowledge of the contributions of historical figures to the development of our
country and assist advisors in preparing and conducting educational hours on
the topic «Great Figures in the Flow of National History».
