President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev noted: «I declare 2025 the Year of Working Professions. During this time, the reform of the system of technical and vocational education will have to be carried out. The Year of Working Professions will also help promote the idea of diligence and professionalism in our society».

In connection with the message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, METU students held a charity event for the workers of Bostandyk district. The initiative brought together young people and working people, giving all participants an atmosphere of warmth and care. As part of the campaign, students distributed hot tea and treats, in addition, useful items were distributed to everyone.

«We wanted to express our gratitude to those who work every day for the benefit of the city of Almaty. Simple attention and care can make someone`s day better», the organizers shared.

The workers of the district warmly accepted the initiative of the METU students, thanking them for their attention and support. Many noted that such actions help bring generations closer together and make society more cohesive.
