On the holding of a competition for the awarding of vacant educational grants
In accordance with paragraph 24 of the Rules for awarding an educational grant to pay for higher and postgraduate education with the award of a bachelor`s or master`s degree, approved by the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 23, 2008 No. 58, the International Engineering and Technology University announces a competition for the award of a vacant educational grant at the expense of the republican budget, released in the process of obtaining higher education among students studying on a fee-paying basis in the following educational program:

To participate in the competition, you must submit an application to the rector with a transcript based on the results of the winter examination session of the 2024-2025 academic year.
The application deadline is January 24, 2025.
The procedure for awarding vacant educational grants that have become available in the process of obtaining higher education is carried out in the following order:
- a student of higher or postgraduate education on a fee-paying basis submits to the registrar`s office an application addressed to the rector of the university with a request for his/her transfer to further education under a state educational grant and a copy of the document certifying his/her identity. A transcript for the entire period of study is provided to the registrar`s office;
- the registrar`s office accepts and registers the application and the student`s package of documents in the registration log;
- the university administration, having reviewed the received applications, submits it for consideration by the Academic Council;
- by August 5 and January 15, the CSC sends a list of applicants for transfer to vacant educational grants to the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter - MES RK) for a final decision. The student`s application, together with the decision of the Academic Council and the Board of Trustees, shall be accompanied by the student`s transcript, a copy of the document proving his/her identity, a certificate of the holder of an educational grant (original) and a copy of the order of expulsion from the university;
- The Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan shall review the received documents in the context of groups of educational programs, forms and terms of study, taking into account the year of admission and, if the decision is positive, shall issue an order to award a vacant educational grant for higher and (or) postgraduate education (in the absence of applicants for a group of educational programs, vacant educational grants that become available in the process of obtaining higher and (or) postgraduate education shall be redistributed within the area of training or field of education);
- based on the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the re-registration of a state educational grant, the National Center for State Education Standards and Testing shall issue a certificate of the holder of a state educational grant in the name of the student who has submitted an application for transfer;
- Based on the issued certificate of award of an educational grant and the order of the Ministry of Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the registrar’s office issues an order for the university indicating the date of transfer to further education under an educational grant.
