Faculty members of the International Engineering and Technology University who received a grant for training in Artificial Intelligence and Game Development met with representatives of the Big Dream Lab IT company, where they are undergoing training. The visit of industry experts to the university marked an important milestone in the collaboration between the academic community and the IT sector.
The training program is being implemented as part of Tech Orda, a large-scale initiative launched by the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation, and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in cooperation with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Astana Hub. A total of 700 faculty members from 47 universities across Kazakhstan are undergoing intensive training in key areas of Artificial Intelligence and Game Development.
METU has become one of the active participants in this program — 11 faculty members from the «Software Engineering» department successfully received a grant and mastered modern approaches in AI and Game Development. During the meeting, IT company representatives discussed with the faculty the outcomes of the training, the integration of new knowledge into the academic process, and prospects for further collaboration.
The university`s collaboration with technology companies will continue in the future, opening up new opportunities for the development of educational programs and the integration of modern IT solutions into the training process of specialists.
