The purpose of the advising hour is to realize the role and work of the mother in life, to form a culture of expressing gratitude to mothers, to increase respect and love for the mother.

During the advisory hour, issues such as «the role and importance of a mother in life», «respect for a mother», and «when was the last time words of gratitude were spoken» were discussed. Students called their mothers and expressed gratitude. A touching video with a performance by a singer and a young poet about how difficult it is to live without a mother was also shown, which caused the students to cry.

At the end of the event, students read poems about their mother, as well as a letter from an elderly mother.
