From April 3 to 5, 2025, students of the International Engineering and Technological University (METU) took part in the International Scientific Conference of Students and Young Scholars  «Farabi Аlemi» , held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU).

This annual event brings together young researchers, students, and graduate students from across Kazakhstan and neighboring countries, providing a platform for sharing scientific projects, exploring current research topics, and engaging in academic dialogue.

METU students presented original and practically significant research projects, demonstrating strong academic preparation and independent thinking. As a result of the conference:

• Demegalieva Mira — 2nd place

• Turesh Gulnaz — 3rd place

• Abaiqyzy Symbat and Zayda Umit — awarded certificates of recognition

Their presentations received high praise from the jury, highlighting METU’s role in preparing not only skilled professionals but also aspiring researchers ready to contribute to both national and international scientific progress.

METU extends its sincere thanks to the students and their academic advisors for their outstanding representation of the university at this international scientific event.
