On April 25, 2025, the International Engineering and Technology University (METU) hosted its "Open Day" event for 10th–11th-grade students at Almaty, During the event, the Department of "Economics and Business" presented its educational programs:

"Information and Innovative Technologies in Economics"                                                               "Accounting and Auditing"                                                                                                                 "Finance"                                                                                                                                            "IT Marketing"                                                                                                                                   "Tourism"

Students from each educational program introduced their specialties to the guests, shared the unique features and advantages of their fields, talked about the opportunities available at METU, and warmly invited prospective students to join their community.

Visitors had the opportunity to tour the university laboratories, consult with department heads and professors, attend a seminar on registration for the 2025 state grants competition, and win pleasant prizes during the entertainment part of the event.

The Open Day took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, leaving a positive impression on the school students and helping them take an important step towards choosing their future profession.
