The Department of Software Engineering at the International Engineering and Technological University (METU) has commenced comprehensive final exams for its graduating students. This is a key stage of the final certification process, covering core subjects of the educational program and allowing for an objective assessment of the future IT specialists’ professional readiness.

The exams are being conducted in person, with participation from the department’s faculty members as well as representatives of IT companies invited to join the examination committees. Such collaboration with the industry not only ensures a thorough evaluation of students` knowledge but also strengthens the connection between theoretical learning and practical application.

Graduates are being assessed in a range of specialized subjects, including object-oriented programming, database design, operating systems, information and cybersecurity, as well as the design and administration of computer networks.

Students are demonstrating strong theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and a high level of responsibility.
