On June 26, 2025, the International Engineering and Technology University (METU) held an online meeting with the Changzhou Liu Guojun Higher Technical School (PRC) and representatives of the Beijing-based educational company Huatec. The purpose of the meeting was to establish strategic cooperation in the fields of education, science, and cultural exchange.

The Chinese side was represented by President Lin Chun, Vice President Liu Hongliang, and Director of the International Cooperation Office Xu Jun. From Huatec, the meeting was joined by Director of Educational Services Dr. Xu Chaoran and Manager Jiang Dongdong.

During the meeting, the parties presented their institutions and companies, exchanged information on current international initiatives, and outlined the following areas for further cooperation:

• Joint training of specialists;

• Academic exchange of teachers and students;

• Scientific research collaboration;

• Implementation of Huatec`s humanitarian and educational projects (including the "Qingshi" program);

• Joint work on certification of educational programs and standards;

• Organization of joint cultural events.

The meeting was held in a constructive and friendly atmosphere and concluded with a group photo and an agreement to continue dialogue and explore specific partnership formats.
