On July 10, 2025, the International Engineering and Technological University (IETU) welcomed a delegation from the East Siberian State University of Technology and Management (ESSUTM), Russian Federation. During the visit, the two universities signed a Memorandum of Strategic Cooperation.

The document formalizes agreements on joint activities in areas such as engineering, telecommunications, ICT, agronomy, biotechnology, ecology, automation, chemical technology, economics, and more. Among the priorities are the implementation of joint and dual-degree educational programs, organization of internships and academic mobility, development of applied research and R&D projects, academic exchange, and joint events.

The parties also agreed to work systematically on technology transfer and commercialization of scientific results, as well as to ensure active participation of faculty members and students in joint initiatives.
