Aidar Serikbayev, a 2024 graduate of the International Engineering and Technological University (METU) with a degree in Automation and Control, has already made significant strides in his professional journey.

In September 2024, shortly after graduation, Aidar joined KazAzot JSC, the same company where he had completed his internship during his studies. His dedication and ability to quickly adapt helped him excel in his role as an Instrumentation Engineer in the SAC department.

In May 2025, Aidar was honored as the Best Instrumentation Engineer of the Year within the company - a well-deserved recognition of his talent and commitment.

“My professional journey is just beginning, but I already know that I’ve chosen the right path. The university gave me not only knowledge but also the confidence to enter the profession,” Aidar shared.

Born in 2002 in the city of Aktau, Aidar proudly notes that METU in Almaty helped shape him as both a specialist and a person. Recently married, he adds with a smile: “At work, I’m a beginner specialist. At home, a beginner husband. I`m learning to be responsible and hardworking - in both roles!”
