From July 21 to 30, 2025, the first-ever World Championship in Toguzkumalak among youth under 21 was held in Pardubice, Czech Republic, organized by the World Toguzkumalak Federation and the Czech Mancala Federation.

The tournament gathered about 50 athletes from Czech Republic, South Korea, Spain, Romania, Turkey, Austria, Ukraine, Hungary, Poland, and Kazakhstan.

In this remarkable event, METU student Smagulov Sultan Ayanovich won 3rd place in the blitz discipline of Toguzkumalak!

This achievement is a vivid proof that Kazakhstan’s sport and our national game are reaching the global stage!
