On August 21, the International Engineering and Technological University (METU) held an official meeting with the delegation of Jiangsu University of Technology (China).
The delegation included Yu Qingmei – Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, Deputy Dean of the Institute of International Education, Zheng Qiujuan – Deputy Dean of the Institute of Culture and Tourism and Zhang Yang – Deputy Dean of the Institute of International Education.
The parties discussed a wide range of issues, with particular attention given to:
the implementation of double degree programs, opening new opportunities for students;
the development of academic mobility for students and faculty, aimed at knowledge exchange and strengthening scientific ties;
the establishment of Jiangsu Polytechnic Institute laboratories at METU, which will serve as a platform for joint research and practical training.
The negotiations were held in an atmosphere of mutual trust and interest. The agreements reached laid the foundation for a strategic partnership that will strengthen international cooperation, improve the quality of specialist training, and promote the development of innovative scientific projects.
The leadership of both universities expressed their readiness to implement the joint initiatives, emphasizing that this cooperation will be an important step in preparing competitive professionals in the fields of engineering and technology.
