METU Opens New Horizons in Serbia: Professors Join the Erasmus+ GreenTech Horizons International Workshop

From 8 to 12 September 2025, the University of Novi Sad (Serbia) is hosting the first Train the Teachers workshop within the Erasmus+ project GreenTech Horizons. The event brings together representatives of 17 universities and research institutions from Europe, Central Asia, and the Caucasus, serving as an important platform for discussions on digitalisation, sustainable development, and the transformation of higher education.

At present, the International Engineering Technological University (METU, Kazakhstan) is actively represented at the workshop. The participants include:

  • Karlygash Nurlanovna Shokhayeva, Director of the Department of International Cooperation;

  • Zhulduz Tursunovna Dildebayeva, Head of the Department of Economics and Business;

  • Altynay Burkhatovna Abuova, Head of the Department of Technique and Technology of Food Production.

Our representatives are sharing expertise, delivering presentations, and engaging in discussions on sustainable development, digital innovation, and the future of education.

The workshop is already becoming a valuable platform for exchanging pedagogical and didactic practices, as well as strengthening international cooperation for a more sustainable and digitally driven future.
