An International Students’ Meeting was held at METU, organized by the Department of International Cooperation

On September 23, 2025, the International Students Meeting was held at the International Engineering and Technological University, organized by the Department of International Cooperation.

The meeting was opened by the Director of the Department, Ms. Karlygash Shokhayeva, who emphasized the importance of supporting international students and encouraging their active participation in university life.

During the event, the Senior Specialist of the Department, Ms. Karakoz Myrzakhanova, provided detailed information on academic matters, including attendance rules, the specifics of the academic process, and available academic support. The Specialist of the Department, Ms. Bakyt Kantayeva, covered visa-related issues, registration, and the procedures for preparing the necessary documents for residence in Kazakhstan.

Students had the opportunity to get answers to their questions, discuss adaptation challenges, and share their experiences. It was also announced that throughout the academic year the Department of International Cooperation will organize cultural events aimed at strengthening a friendly atmosphere and integrating international students into the university community.
