On September 25, 2025, METU hosted a CareerTalks event organized in collaboration with HeadHunter. The event brought together students interested in building a successful career and developing professional skills.

The topic of the meeting was “Create a Resume That Will Definitely Get Noticed.”
HeadHunter experts provided detailed insights on how to write an effective resume, highlighted common mistakes made by job seekers, and shared practical tips on preparing for interviews.

A rich program was prepared for students, including:

·        analysis of real resumes,

·        career opportunities analytics,

·        open discussion with HeadHunter experts.

Particular interest in the event was shown by students of the Department of Software Engineering, who actively participated in discussions and asked questions about prospects in the IT field.

At the end of the event, many participants approached the speakers personally to receive individual recommendations and career advice.

CareerTalks at METU became not only a platform for knowledge exchange but also the first step for students — especially future programmers — on their way to landing their dream job.
