On September 22, 2025, the Kazakhstan–China Forum “Promoting
Sino–Kazakh Educational Cooperation in the New Era of Higher Education” was
held in Almaty.
The event was organized by the Akimat of Almaty City, the Association
of Universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the Government of
Sichuan Province (China).
The Chinese delegation, headed by the Governor of Sichuan Province,
included rectors of leading universities and representatives of the departments
of education and international cooperation.
The forum aimed to expand and strengthen bilateral cooperation within the
framework of the “Sichuan–Almaty University Alliance”, and to promote
academic exchange between universities of Kazakhstan and China.
From the International Engineering and Technology University (MITU),
the forum was attended by
Zhuldyz Tursunovna Dildebayeva, Head of the Department of Economics and
Business,
and Dr. Aigul Nurpeisovna Toksanova, Professor of the Department of
Economics and Business.
Participation in the forum provided an opportunity to establish
professional contacts, discuss current issues in higher education, and exchange
best practices with leading Chinese universities.
