The International Engineering and Technological University (METU) is participating in the international seminar “Mission and Values of Higher Education”, held on October 15–16, 2025 in Astana, Kazakhstan.

The event is organized with the support of the Erasmus+ National Office in Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the HERE National Team, and partner organizations.

MITU is represented by Ms. Karlygash Shokhaeva, Director of the Department of International Cooperation, who is actively contributing to the discussions on the mission and values of modern higher education.

Keynote Expert: Dr. Sjur Bergan – International expert of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), Independent Education Consultant, and former Head of the Education Department at the Council of Europe.
